As an investor, people are always talking about what’s your thesis. And a thesis is important, but it can be really intimidating. You may not know your thesis right away. So think about your why, what do you want to accomplish in investing?
I think about this every day. The biggest issue of our time is this growing wealth gap. The majority of Americans cannot get to a place where they can generate generational wealth. And generational wealth is how all American families can thrive.
I’ve spoken to enough women to know that a lot of us want to make sure that we’re experts and that we know how to do it down to the ‘T’ before we actually jump off and do it.
I am the first female President of that organization (Tech Coast Angels) in the twenty-three years of its existence. And I just felt that in order to take on those initiatives it really needed to be a person that was from an underrepresented faction…
It just goes back to how do we wield this amazing knowledge base and capital towards helping our community.
My definition of abundance mindset is openness. It’s being open to listening. It’s being open to understanding. And I feel like when you’re opening you’re letting go of your preconceived notions and that allows you to be abundant.
